A awfull lot of 'mpt-statusd' messages.

Post by admin »

A lot of messages in Linux (Debian) mailbox:

Code: Select all

This is a RAID status update from mpt-statusd. The mpt-status
program reports that one of the RAIDs changed state:

Report from /etc/init.d/mpt-statusd on DGLD705
Or logging shows:

Code: Select all

mpt-statusd: detected non-optimal RAID status
This could mean a real RAID error on your hardware, check this before continue!

Disable it in Webmin / System / Bootup and Shutdown / mpt-statusd.
If the 'At boot' value is 'Yes', select it and scroll down to press 'Disable Now and On Boot'.

Or on commandline:

Code: Select all

sudo /etc/init.d/mpt-statusd stop

Within 64bits Jessie there is no mpt-statusd anymore, so also not this problem :).
