Readme 4 DG's Hardware board.

Post by admin »

Welcome to my English forum containing hard- and software information about DG's network, these issues cannot be edited, although anyone can and may respond.
Until further notice people can only write in this forum after registration. This goes the normal way, with your email address.
Please write as much as possible in English, so everybody can read your comments. Dutch writes will be transferred to Dutch / Nederlands, and if needed translate to English back to the forum.

This forum will hold as much as possible information about setup and configuration of my (virtual) machine(s).
It includes router firmware recovery and Linux setup logs, etc.

Forum Overview:

Hardware
Software A graphical overview of my network can be found HERE.

As when i created this 'instance'... 1st issues with SQL not active after initial install with WebMin install afterwards.
On WebMin had te re-install MySQL and do some tricks before it worked.
The same i had on the phpbb setup, but well, it worked out as you can see !

Example Topics:

Start 'seeing' my complete 1GBps network (with only 4 ethernet and 1 COAX cable?)

Running Privoxy for Windows

Hopefully I have some answers to some of your nasty tricks.

Regards, D.G.
and i'll be filling this forum ....

Last 9 May, - 05/09/14, 19:25:20 - System Complex Powered Down - lightning struck into building next to mine (about 10 meters away!). Broke the rooftop up there!
All my electronics went off. After some inspections my (fixed) Zyxel router has lost WAN connection (to be investigated).
Lucky enough I had just updated my other (same) Zyxel router. Adjusted the port forwarding etc and installed that one now.

Code: Select all

Host Name: DGZyXEL01
Model Name: P-2812HNU-F1
CPU Version: v1.1
MAC Address: cc:5d:4e:0a:77:ff
Firmware Version:	V1.00(AACC.3)
Although this device has no root access, it's doing its job.

And i see alot of network issues on LAN port 1, to ESXi4.1:

Code: Select all
