Just try this out, about 1 MB of proxy code (and adjust your browsersettings) and voila.
Get ride of 70% of ads all over the net ...

I even have some subnets behind a pfSense Virtual router with Privoxy running on it!
All machines behind it have 'clean' internet ☺


NOTE: Some flash sites wont work, because they have flash-ads in them.
You always can override Privoxy, rightmouse on the taskbar and disable Privoxy, the flash site will run normally, although not cleaned.
(This trick won't work on my local machines behind a pfSense Router.)

For Windows version 3.0.21 is availbale, for Linux (Debian) version 3.0.19 is working.
Did not test 3.0.21 because FreeBSD does not allow it. As I want Privoxy to run within pfSense virtual gateway, all machines behind this GW don't need Privoxy installed!

Linux & Windows version 2.0.22 is out now, and there's even a version 3.0.22 for openWRT!
openWRT on ZyXEL P-2812HNU-F1 now testing and is working great as router/pr(iv)oxy.

Nowadays I run Privoxy 3.0.23-3 within (OpenWrt) router-hardware: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=52
So only have to set proxy settings in every machine behind that proxy to use it!
Version 3.0.23 is also out for Windows or other OS.
