Re: TorRouter v23.05.2, WiP
We do run some more tests with v23.05.2 As we discovered strange things during build, which may related to branch changes, as I also read on the wiki: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/toolchain/use-buildsystem :!: When changing branches, it is recommended to perform a thorough scrub of your ...

TorRouter v22.03.6
Latest (and final? No, we have also v23.05.x running) version for ZyXEL F1 machines. /DGWP03/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Screenshot-from-2024-03-19-00-42-31a.png Working on the latest version, as we already facing memory issues due to 128MB capacity. Removed luci-VPN, we only keep USB storage availab...

Re: Raspberry 3B+, Robot-Pi ...
And on my Robot-Pi ... the Wifi is -spontaneously- not working anymore? Raspberry Pi's hardware is not that 'good' after all. It was working fine for some months ago, and now it won't start anymore: missing wlan0. Have done nothing special. Another Rpi3, which does Flightradar24 did not have this is...

Re: Raspberry 3B+, RF Light On, Light Off, Dim Light
As of Debian bookworm, we need to run python scripts within its own container/environment, as wriiten on: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/os.html#python-on-raspberry-pi Start of the environment: source env./bin/activate Stop the environment: deactivate To make new RF code we will...

Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4 latest Debian 12
As we changed the micro-SD card to a 32GB version instead of 16GB. New Debian 12 version of RaspberryPi OS. We keep the old 16GB as we can read it, although it won't boot anymore! But it won't install WiringPi anymore . Therefore rpi-rftransmitter can also NOT be installed (it needs WiringPi)? And t...

Re: Raspberry 3B+, RF Light On, Light Off, Dim Light
As we use(d) rpi-rftransmitter program, which is build on wiringPi package. But the website of wiringPi is no longer available: /DGWP01/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Screenshot-from-2024-02-12-12-46-23a.png Should we make/use a new program to send/receive RF data? Or do we stay on the old version? (htt...

Re: Philips Soundbar, repaired (wireless) subwoofer
About 8 months later the bar itself started to make crackling high pitch sounds.
Tested the PCB board, but too difficult to find the place where the sound is getting worse.
Decided to not use it anymore. Despite of the repaired sub-woofer.
DG.

Re: VM's and their settings
The weird errors -as 2 posts above- are most probably due to a failing SSD: /DGWP01/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Screenshot-from-2024-02-02-19-11-08a.png Although ESXi web ui does show the SSD as working and active, the VM's running on it are unresponsive.
